What a Grand Day We all Had !!!!

 It seemed the whole
 of Tostock turned
 out for the ‘BigDay’ 
 on Friday the 29th
 of April.
 The sun shone, the
 wind did not play
 up and everybody
 enjoyed themselves. 

  

There was plenty of food, cakes, and drink for all. We had lovely music, dancing and prizes for the best ladies red,white and blue theme, gentleman’s button holes, best dressed bike and young bride and groom outfits.

The brownies perfomed a spectacular Maypole dance where
they wound themselves to and fro and then unwound. They were great !!!
Then the adults tried the same – I can’t say whether it was the drink or the over enthusiasm but it was not a patch on the brownies effort.
BUT they all tried !!!!

There is a special thanks to Roger Lister and his gang for erecting the marquees, Lynne Jones and her band of merry girls for organising the ‘do’ and Gail and Denis  for the music. Thanks to everyone who turned up.

The formal end to the day was the royal anthem and a toast to the newly weds. Let us hope they have a happy life together.
